Subscription & Refund Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

1. What Pro includes

• Fresh AI picks researched every day for your own area (Home and Bulletin).
• Up to 15 Scene Finder searches per day.
• Exploring other cities.
• Additional features we describe in the app as Pro features, which may change over time.

The free plan includes 3 Scene Finder searches per calendar month and AI picks for your wider region, refreshed about once a week. Free AI picks run on a limited monthly capacity shared by all free users; when it runs out, the free plan shows listed and organizer-submitted events until the next month. Where many people use CrowdSense in the same area, free users may also see that area's daily picks.

1A. Free trial

• If you have never subscribed to Pro before, your subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. One trial per person; we may refuse trials that appear to abuse this (for example, through duplicate accounts).
• You need to add a payment method to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is charged the price shown at checkout when the trial ends, and the subscription then renews automatically as described below.
• If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged and you keep Pro until the trial ends. Where the law requires, we will remind you before the trial ends.

2. Billing and automatic renewal

• By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method the price shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes, at the start of your subscription and automatically at each renewal (monthly or yearly), until you cancel.
• You will see the price, billing period and renewal terms before you confirm, and you must actively agree to automatic renewal.
• Stripe emails you a receipt for each payment. For yearly plans, we or Stripe will remind you before renewal where the law requires.
• If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If it still fails, your Pro access may end.
• If you are under 18, you confirm your parent or guardian has approved the purchase, and they are responsible for the charges.

3. How to cancel

Cancel any time, online, in a few clicks: Profile → Manage subscription → Cancel. You can also email crowdsense26@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately.

4. Refunds

• Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused time, except where required by law or stated below.
• Accidental renewal: if your subscription renewed and you haven't used Pro since, email us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund that renewal.
• Service problems: if Pro was materially unavailable for an extended period because of a problem on our side, contact us and we will review a pro-rated refund in good faith.
• EU/UK customers: you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. By starting to use Pro during that period, you ask us to begin immediately and acknowledge that you may lose the right to withdraw, or receive a proportionate refund, as permitted by law.
• To request a refund, email crowdsense26@gmail.com from the address on your account with the date of the charge.

5. Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first so we can fix it quickly. If you file a chargeback for a valid charge, we may suspend your Pro access while it is resolved.

6. Price changes

We may change Pro prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it will apply from your next renewal. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before it takes effect.

7. Codes and promotions

Access or promotional codes may grant Pro for free for a stated period (which may be indefinite). They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, cannot be exchanged for a refund, and may be revoked if misused or obtained in violation of our Terms. We may end or change any promotion at any time, without affecting paid subscriptions already purchased.

8. Invite rewards and student pricing

• Free Pro earned through invites lasts for the stated period (currently one month) and then ends automatically, without any charge. It has no cash value.
• If a student plan is offered ($2.99 per month), it renews automatically like other plans and is only for people currently enrolled in a school, college or university.

9. Taxes

Prices may not include sales tax, VAT or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout where applicable.
